President Biden's Inaugural Address on January 20, 2021

My fellow Americans, Today, on this hallowed ground, where just days ago violence sought to shake the foundations of our democracy, we gather as one nation under God, indivisible, to carry out the peaceful transfer of power as we have for more than two centuries.

We come together as one people, united in our love for America, united in our belief in our ability to overcome any obstacle, and united in our determination to build a better future for ourselves and for our children.

I stand here today with a heart full of gratitude for the American people, who have chosen me to lead our great country. I will give my all to be a president for all Americans, whether you voted for me or not. I will keep the faith that you have placed in me.
